Sam is originally from Belgium but relocated to Scotland in 2023 to pursue a career in dog training. Growing up, his father was a deer manager for a sporting estate on the East Coast where working dogs were part of everyday life. This left a mark on Sam even if he didn't know it at the time. He now lives in Aberdeenshire with his partner and 5 dogs, 3 Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas, a Lab and a Labradoodle named Gladis. As well as training dogs for a living, Sam enjoys working his own dogs during the season, grouse counting, rough shooting over his 3 HPR's and taking part in the odd working test.
